A transcript is a detailed permanent academic record of a student which includes all the courses that s/he has taken and marks obtained throughout his/her bachelor years. 

The myth regarding Back papers and transcript.

Many of us have heard the rumor that the back paper and the number of attempts we did to pass the back papers will not be shown on the transcript. Some of us including me genuinely believed that if we pass the backlog subjects within the course due period(4 years in this case) we not only avoid the * remarks but also increase our overall percentage. were. However, as shown below, it's not the case. Yes, your overall marks increase but so do the * remarks.

1. Will our College provides us Transcript? 

Ans: No, our TU-affiliated colleges only provide us the yearly mark sheet.

Ans: Depends on whether your bachelor 4 years program is semester-wise or yearly.

         For yearly, the Transcript fee: 450 Rs. For semester-wise, the Transcript fee: 550 Rs.

Required Documents to get your Transcript:

In order to get your transcript, you need to submit certain documents mentioned below on the Balkhu, Kathmandu.

1. Original Marksheet of each year or semester.

2. The Registration Card of Tribhuvan University.

3. Your Nepali Citizenship.

4. In case of spelling correction, an entrance exam card is necessary.

5. Two photocopies of all the documents mentioned above.

6. Transcript application form of TU: It is provided at the reception office of the controller of the examination, Balkhu.

Steps to get your Transcript from TU, Balkhu:

1.Firstly visit the reception office to get the transcript application form.











2.Fill the transcript application form, take your mark sheet photocopy, and TU registration card.

3. Head towards the Global IME Bank or Nepal Bank Limited counter present inside the Balkhu TU office. Fill in the voucher of 450 rs (for yearly) or 500rs (for a semester-wise bachelor course). 
















4. Submit your filled transcript application form and the voucher to the staff present in Room No 1, they will put a stamp on your documents. Collect back the transcript application form & voucher. 




5. Head towards Roon No. 11 (for science faculty) with your filled transcript application form, deposit voucher, photocopies of all 4 years mark sheet, and TU registration card. Submit all the mentioned documents to the staff in Room No 11 and get the receipt slip.

6. Return to Room No 11 with the receipt slip to collect your Transcript after about 20-25 days.
