How to Fix Desktop Icons Not Showing Issue?

Desktop icons include all the icons which are displayed on the desktop screen. For example, this pc, recycle bin, file explorer, documents, etc.

Main reasons for desktop icons not showing on desktop:

1.When any windows 10, 8, or any windows software is installed on your pc/laptop for the first time. 2. When by mistake we hide the desktop icons.

Methods to fix desktop icons not showing issue:

Method 1:

1.Right-click on the desktop screen of your pc/ laptop.

2. Select personalize option.

3. Go to themes.

4. Below related settings, you'll find Desktop icons settings, click it. Now a dialogue box like this will appear.

Click on the check box whose icons you want to appear in the desktop. Then, press on ok button.

5.Your icons will appear on the desktop screen.

Method 2

1. .Right-click on the desktop screen of your pc/ laptop.

2. Click on view option. Then, select show desktop icons. Now, your hidden desktop icons will be displayed on the screen.
